Coffee Catch-Up #13
Good morning and happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. We had loads of sunshine this weekend, but it was a chilly one, so I tried to make the most of it.
I am looking forward to a semi-normal start of the week, before things get exciting for Easter next weekend. My whole family will be coming into town, so it will be lots of catching up and spring fun. I can’t wait! I started to pull some Easter goodies and decorations out this weekend and I made up a few baskets for loved ones. I love assembling little baskets filled with trinkets, snacks, and a few seasonal items.
I had a well paced weekend with some fun, some projects, and most importantly, sunshine.
Let me get you caught up.
I love a good show, whether it’s a musical or play. One of our local schools was putting on Les Mis this weekend and my mom and I went to see it. It’s one of my favorite shows and the students did a phenomenal job.
I spent most of Thursday and Friday doing some heavy duty spring cleaning, from throw blankets, to cleaning windows, our home is ready for spring. My pup was not too happy with the lack of attention on him, but he did enjoy having the windows open.
The sun was out all weekend, but it was chilly, my pup and I still got our steps in. It has been so long since we have seen blue skies, so we took advantage of it.
This weekend also brought Church, catching up on some shows, and dinner out. I got a delicious seafood salad and was the perfect spring meal on a spring day.
I ended the weekend by running errands, cleaning my car and getting set for the week ahead. There’s no better feeling than get reset before a new week.
That’s a look into my life this weekend. How was yours? Do anything fun or different? Next weekend will be fun with all the Easter celebrations. I’ll see you back here on Wednesday! Have a great start to your week!
