Hello everyone! A very happy Friday to you as we make our way through June!
I hope you have been enjoying the summer season by grilling, pool time, sunshine, and family time. I know I have slowly been making my way through my Summer Bucket List.
Fresh blooms always put me in a good mood!
First night grilling at the beach was a success!
Here’s what I have been loving this summer season.
Jean shorts- Here’s a shock for you, I purchased my first pair of jean shorts and I got so excited that I purchased two pairs! I have been on the hunt for years for a pair of jean shorts, but never found ones that fit right or that I liked. To no surprise, I found a pair of shorts that fit everything I was looking for at Old Navy. I wanted a dark wash, with no rips, and a bit of a high waist feel. These shorts checked all the boxes. I have worn them a handful of times and have been so pleased with them.
And Just Like That back- Season three of And Just Like That, the spinoff to Sex and the City is back. I’ve watched the first few episodes every week since it’s been out and I think the season has been good so far. If you are a fan of the show and series what are your thoughts so far?
New Wall Scent- Since everything is in full bloom, I knew it was time to switch out the scents. I was due for an upgrade for my wall flower plug-in. I wanted a subtle, floral scent for summer. I have a lot for different seasons and choose ones based on the time of year. I chose a scent from the Bridgerton collection from Bath and Body Works. I went with Wisteria Garden. I love the spring/summery scent that it provides. Not too strong, but not too subtle as well. I really have been loving it.
New Shoes- I had some birthday rewards to use at the end of last month and decided to pop into DSW to see if there was anything new. I found these cute pair of black and white flats that can elevate any simple or solid outfit. They can be worn with black dress pants, a black dress or skirt, even jeans. They are comfortable and can probably be worn in most seasons. The pearls are a super cute touch too.
New Leggings- There’s nothing better than having new workout clothes to hit the gym in. I got these light blue leggings from Marshall’s and have been loving them. They are super breathable, and comfortable. The solid colors make them easy to pair with different tops. The only downside is that there are no pockets. But overall, a win for me!
