Hello! Hello! 

Happy Friday! I’m popping on here before the weekend begins. I am coming off a busy week full of work and travel. All good things, but I am ready to catch my breath. This has been such a fulfilling summer and I have done so many things, but even I can use a rest sometimes, haha!

Fresh flowers for the win!

Before we get to the weekend, I wanted to share some things that have been on my eye and I have been loving this week. In no particular order, here’s some of my favorite things from this week as I link up with Erika and Andrea.

Lavender Cuticle Oil Pen-I am a big beauty gal and always am looking for different ways to take care of myself, especially when it comes to self-care. I tend to paint my nails myself once a week and I always enjoy the ritual of making sure I have healthy nails. I have been using cuticle oil for years, but recently was given a lavendar, cuticle oil pen. I have found the pen works way better on my nails when I am doing them. The pen is easier to control than the brush and I love the smell of lavender too. I got this pen at Target, but you can find it at other big, box stores too.

Cooking Magazine- By now, you know I am a foodie. I love to try new foods and I love to bake and cook new recipes. My mom picked up this cooking for two magazine and I loved paging through it and finding new recipes to try for myself. There were so many easy meals to follow and I marked so many to try. Summer Dress- I have had a few summer events to attend and there’s nothing that I love more than getting dressed in some fun outfits that aren’t work clothes. I picked up this dress from Marshall’s and fell in love with it. I love the style and how it fits and I appreciate how lightweight it is too! Plus, who can resist these colors?! A summer win for me!

Fresh Flowers-Fresh cut flowers brings me so much joy, especially when I am the one going out to cut them. I love getting out in my garden and picking different flowers  to make an arrangement. Day lillies are my current go-to! What are yours?!

The Color Lavender- This may seem silly, but I have been loving the color purple or lavender as of late. It’s been such a fun color to incorporate into my wardrobe in the summer months. I also keep buying/getting items in lavender, from my headphones to my tumbler, lavender keeps popping up which I’m not complaining about.
