Friday Favorites #178
Hello everyone!
Happy post-Christmas Friday! If you made it here after Christmas, go you!! Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your day to spend it here.
How was your Christmas? Restful? Full of energy and excitement? Lots of family time? I had a wonderful day with my family. It truly was a magical time. Here’s a glimpse into my Christmas!
We did appetizers on Christmas Eve!
Here’s a look at all the cookies I made.
And we watched lots of holiday classics.
Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite holiday favorites from the past few weeks.
Baking Holiday Cookies- I started after Halloween and have tried to bake one different treat a week. I was so pleased with the classics and new varieties of cookies that I baked. I ended up making ten different cookies, three different breads, and a bunch of different treats.
Here’s a look at my final totals:
Halloween Candy Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies and Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
Sugar Cookies
Chocolate Pretzels
Chocolate Oreos
Red Velvet Cookies
Snickerdoodle Cookies
Double Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
Chocolate Crinkle
Twix Cookies
Chocolate Covered Ritz Cookies
Zucchini Bread
Pumpkin Bread
Chocolate Peppermint Bread
Neiman Marcus Bars
I absolutely love to bake and I love it even more when I can share my goodies with others! It’s one of my favorite hobbies
Christmas Pajamas- Another favorite this holiday season is matching pajamas. We get a new pair every year and I love to wear them before and after the holidays. These were extra comfy and I love the print and pattern.
Festive Tops- I got a few new tops to wear ahead of and during the holiday season from J.Crew. Both are white, but one is a sweater and the other is a blouse. I love how I can dress them up and down with skirts or jeans. The best part is that they are white, so I can wear them all winter long.
Gift Giving- I love, love, love gift giving and this year I was really proud of some of the gifts I gave. I gave a mix of experiences and items, some practical and some fun! One of my tips for gift giving is to keep a running list of ideas for people who you tend to buy for, so when the holidays come around you have some ideas.
New Holiday movies- I adore the holiday classics and make it a point to watch my favorites every year, but I do like to give into the new, cheesy Netflix movies. I watched a few of the new releases this year and they were something different to watch between the classics. A Merry Little Ex-Mas was a cute one to watch this holiday season
