Happy Friday! I hope you are enjoying and savoring the spring season. It was a long, cold, winter and I am not taking these warm days and sunshine for granted.
Here’s some motivation and affirmation as we head into the weekend.
Red Lipstick- Don’t ask me why, but I always lose my red lipstick. I have all my other lipsticks and have never lost them, but when it comes to my red lipstick, I either lose them or they break on me. I needed a new red lipstick, so while I was picking up some other items from Sephora, I picked up another new red lipstick. I have been pleased with this bright red from MAC. It goes on smooth and is long-lasting. Two major wins for me. Let’s hope I don’t lose it and it doesn’t break on me.
Simplified Spring Bingo- Spring is here and as you know, I love a good bingo or bucket list. I just shared my spring bucket list, but I will also be doing the Simplified spring bingo. It’s fun and creative ways to soak up the springtime. I always love different suggestions and ideas to savor the season I am in. Join me and fill out your bingo board too!
Tarte Setting Powder- Alongside my new MAC lipstick, when I was at Sephora, I needed a new light/setting powder so I decided to try this new to me powder from Tarte. The color matches my skin tone and I like that it’s lightweight. I use it for touch ups throughout the day, but you can definitely use it on its own if you just want a little bit of coverage.
New Gym- As much as I love a good routine and workout, I like change too. I recently switched gyms and have liked the change of pace it provides. I still get my daily workouts in, but it’s nice to change it up with different equipment and try out a new space. I tend to stick with lifting and cardio, but may branch out to some of the group classes to change up my workout routine.This is a reminder to not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
New Lipstick Mini Sets- I have been trying different chapsticks and balms and recently tried this new to me brand. I love how they go on smooth and are long-lasting, plus they have bit of color to them too. They are minis so I am able to test them out before going all in on the purchase. Plus, I couldn’t resist the spring colors too!
There you have it, some favorite things from this week. I love this time of year so I’m going to head out and enjoy the sunshine. I hope you can do the same.
