Friday Favorites #200
Hello! Hello! Happy Friday!
We made it to the weekend and it’s an extra special Friday because it’s my BIRTHDAY. As you know, I love celebrating all the big and little moments of life and this is no exception.
Here’s how I plan on celebrating the day.
It’s also my 200th Friday Favorites post.
To put that in perspective that’s 200 weeks of favorite things, which is almost four years of weekly updates and it comes out to about 1,000 favorite items or things that brought me joy. That’s a lot of positivity and I’m so glad to have you along for the ride. Here’s to many more Friday Favorites as I link up with Erika and Andrea.
Here’s what’s been on my radar!
New Blue Shirt- I have been seeing the trend of denim shirts coming back. I picked up this shirt from T.J. Maxx and can’t wait to pair it with white jeans and sneakers or flats for a spring or summer look.
New Hand Lotion- I had mentioned that I was out of a lot of products and trying to use what I had. I always keep lotion on my desk, purse, car, by my bed etc. I swapped out my desk lotion scent and I have been loving the fresh scent it brings just in time for spring and summer. What I love about using travel items is that it’s the perfect opportunity to test out a product or scent without fully committing.
New Phone Case and Holder- I shared a few weeks ago that I got a new key ring and card holder from Simplified’s travel collection and I LOVE them! They are the perfect colors and fits for what I need in life right now. I have had my phone for several years now and needed a new case, mine was falling apart. I found an inexpensive and durable one from Amazon. I love the bows and the clear back so you can see my red phone. An ad popped up for a magnetic card holder and I decided to add it to my cart too. It fits the bill for when I need to run a quick errand and I just need my phone, keys, and card. Sometimes, simple is better.
New Candle- I love when a new season means a new candle. I burn candles ALL the time and anyone who knows me, knows that I love candles, so I often get them as gifts. I rarely buy my own candles, haha! I am burning this current candle as a transition candle from spring to summer. I love the subtle floral hues, but it’s not too overpowering like I feel like I’m in a greenhouse. I also like that it’s three wicks, so it lasts longer and it matches my room
Simplified Cups- Spotted at Home Goods and I had to pick them up. I love when I see Simplified products in the wild. So fun for spring and summer and this pattern was one that I had a few years back. Although I love to use a real mug for tea, these will be fun for on-the go days.
That’s a look into what I am loving as we make our way through May! This is such a fun month and I’m trying to savor it as much as possible.
