Hello everyone!
Happy, happy Friday!
I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend. It’s Halloween Weekend! Do you have something fun and festive planned? My plans are still up in the air, but I have been enjoying lots of fall fun all month long.
You can read all about it in my Currently post from Wednesday. Needless to say, I made the most of the month.
New candle scent- Yes, I had one candle scent last week and a new one this week. The one from last week was quite small and it burned within a week because I enjoyed it so much! So, we have a new scent this week. I returned to my Bath and Body roots for an Emily in Paris lavender scented candle. Perfect for the in- between seasons before we start lighting all the Christmas and holiday scents.
New sweatshirt- My mom picked me up this sweatshirt and it’s SO me. My two favorite things, running and reading. It’s also SUPER cozy too! Perfect for fall and winter days. I love it and it’s my personality.
New Journal-I haven’t been the best when it comes to buying journals for each year, so I have gone through two of them already this year. As I make my way through my third, this one with Paris details spoke to me after my recent honeymoon. Every time I open it, it reminds of my trip this summer. Journaling is so therapeutic for me. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day, just me and my thoughts and I love having a pretty place to put them.
Verity- A good movie to add to your watchlist! I read the book Verity a few years ago and was excited to hear they were making a movie about it. My mom and I went to see it and both really enjoyed it. It’s scary, but not too scary. A psychological thriller for sure. I liked the book more than the movie, but was happy with how the movie turned out.
Homes Decorated for Halloween- I mentioned this earlier this week, but one of my favorite things about running outdoors is seeing homes in different seasons. One of the neighborhoods I often run in is all decked out for Halloween. Here’s some of my favorite homes.
Seeing them all decked out made me slow down (not too much) and enjoy seeing them on my run. It truly is the little things that can make the biggest difference. I am off to celebrate for Halloween! Maybe some chili, popcorn and a movie will be on the agenda this weekend, plus you can’t forget the candy! I hope you have a safe and fabulous Halloween and I’ll see you back here on Monday to catch you up on my weekend!
