Friday Favorites #197: May Trader Joe’s Haul

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a fabulous second week of May. My fiance is in town visiting for a few days so we have been having all the fun! I have a little bit of a different selection of favorites for you today as I link up with Erika and Andrea.

Last week, I made a visit to Cleveland which meant a visit to Trader Joe’s. We don’t have one by us, so whenever I am close to one, I make it a point to stop.

I picked up so many goodies, from meals, to snacks, and produce, I had to dedicate a favorite post for you.

Here’s a look at my May Trader Joe’s Haul!

Sweet Chili Mango Salad Mix- All these flavors sounded so good together. I love the kick with the sweet chili and the mango gives it a nice sweetness. So filling and just add a protein and you have yourself a full meal!

Crispy Dried Watermelon- I was intrigued by these, I love watermelon and am always looking for a fun snack. These definitely have a unique flavor to them.

Joe Joe’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies- Two of my favorite flavors combined into one? Need I say more? These are the perfect lunch or after dinner treat.

Brookie Caramel Candy Clusters- I got down the chocolate hole here. These look so rich and tasty and sweet. They are so flavorful, it’s hard to stop myself from eating more than one at a time.

Dark Chocolate Roasted Pistachio Toffee- I was influenced by Mix and Match Mama for these. I have been on a pistachios kick and these are so tasty. I try to only have a piece or two at a time, but they are hard to put down.

Zucchini Spirals- See, I did get more than just snacks. I really enjoy zucchini spirals, but it can be so tedious to make, these make my job much easier when I’m making them.

Lemon Chicken and Arugula Salad- I don’t buy box salads too often since I can make my own, but these flavors combined looked so good, I couldn’t resist buying them. Truly, the perfect lunch on the go.

Crunchy Slaw Salad- Another salad with grilled chicken, cabbage, carrots, noodles, and a peanut dressing. The flavors sounded so good, I knew I had to try it.

Chicken Tikka Masala- I have heard The Lazy Genius talk about this meal for YEARS, so it was about time I tried it for myself.

Porridge Bread- Trader Joe’s always has so many different kinds of breads and rolls. This one sounded different and I wanted to give it a go. We ate it with loaded sandwiches and it lived up to its expectations.

There you have it. My recent haul from Trader Joe’s. I did buy some repeat items too and produce, but these were my new finds.

I am always looking for suggestions when I shop. What are some of your favorite go-to items?

Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
