Summer Bucket List 2026

Hello everyone!

Happy Wednesday! It’s the first Wednesday of June, I hope you are as excited for summer as I am. 

Here’s a look at how I want to spend my summer!

Memorial Day always feels like the kickoff to summer to me. Bring on the barbecues, fresh fruit and lazy summer afternoons. I am ready for pool days, outdoor walks, eating as much outside as possible, and ice cream dates. 

My pup and I have been enjoying a slice of summer so far!

I have a memorable summer to get ready for. I am excited for big events and mundane activities. I’m going to do my best to pace myself this summer and try to enjoy it as much as possible. Like I have done for YEARS, I am sharing my seasonal bucket list with you all today. I like to do this every season, make a bucket list of things I want to accomplish. This always gives me ideas of things I want to try to do before the season is up. 

Some items on this list are tailored just to me and others are more generic. If you are looking for some summer inspiration, I hope this provides that for you! 

Without further ado, here’s my summer bucket list for 2026!

-Pool or Hot Tub Twice A Week

-Beach and Pool Day

-Consistent Walks and Talks with Friends

-Weekly Walks with my Dog

-Sunrise Runs in New Places

-Baseball Games

-Heritage Festivals and Farmer’s Market

-Visit to the Gardens

-Eat Outside As Much as Possible

-Grilling

-Picnics

-Zoo Trips

-Ice Cream Dates (J’s, Sara’s, Lucky Duck, Denny’s, Whippy Dip, Creamland, Romolo’s)-Try New Flavors

-Trip to White Turkey and Sara’s

-Fruit Picking 

-Bonfire and S’more’s

-Outdoor Concerts and Live Music Nights

-Outdoor Movie Night

-Read Outside

-Finish West Wing

-Watch the Five Star Weekend

-Mini Golf

-Wedding Shower

-Celebrate 4th of July

-Get Married

-Honeymoon

As you can see, it’s a pretty big summer. I’m looking forward to some big events, but I’m also excited about the slow afternoons by the pool. 

This is just a taste of what I hope will be a very good summer.
