2026 Goals and Resolutions

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

How was your holiday? Restful? Filled with family and friends and too many goodies? I hope your break was what you needed and deserved. I have been popping in here through the holidays, but in case you missed a post, you can find my year in review, plus my ultimate favorites from 2025 from last week.

I’ve been making the most of the weather by getting in some winter walks!

Today’s post is a favorite of mine, I am recapping my 2025 resolutions and sharing my 2026 goals. I love posts that are reflective, but also hold you accountable.

Let’s look back on 2025. To read my full post on my New Year’s Resolutions, click here.

My mindset for 2025 was to approach my days in a calm manner and I think I did a good job accomplishing that. I tried to structure the start and end of my day with more quiet time, I also tried to give myself more breathing room in my schedule so I would not be as rushed. I found that by making these small changes, I was more present and I had a better attitude about life.

Flexibility is something I wanted to work more on in 2025 and I am still working on it, but I have found ways that I have made progress. I wanted to continue with my daily habits in the new year like meditation, trying new recipes, donating blood, and being more aware of my finances and I excelled in all those areas.

My 2025 resolutions included:

Run a half marathon (I ran a half marathon back in July-something I was very proud of)

Read 70 books ( I finished 2025 off by reading 80 books, this was a mix or audiobooks and physical books)

Learn to bake bread (I didn’t get around to baking bread, but I did try and make over 50 new recipes in the kitchen. I plan to learn how to bake bread perhaps this year!)

Learn to Iron (Although, I learned to iron, I am still not the best at it, something that I hope the more I practice, the better I will get at it.)

Get Involved in my Community (I had bigger aspirations of getting involved more in my community, but this didn’t happen. I did, however, participate in more community events and I tried to step out of my comfort zone too.)

A few exciting things happened this year including travel to new states, traveling solo for work, and getting engaged!

Overall, I think I did pretty well when it comes to accomplishing my New Year’s Goals and Resolutions for 2025. You can read my whole year in review here.

Now onto 2026:

For the first time, I decided to make a vision board for the year, I was a bit intimidated by it at first, since there are no rules or guidelines, but I really found myself enjoying the process of dreaming up ideas for the next twelve months. I created it on Pinterest and even wrote out some phrases and mindsets in my planner so I can see it every day. You can see my board here!

My word of the year for 2026 is evolve. I chose the word evolve because I love the person I am, but I want to continue to be a better version of myself. I want to continue to use my voice, be my own person, but hold onto my best qualities, like being positive, kind, and a hard worker. This year will be full of change, making big decisions, and growth and I want to evolve along the way too.

As far as my goals and resolutions go, I have come up with a list of ten things I want to do by the end of the year, some are easier than others, but I think they all can be achieved. I also want to note, like last year, I want to continue to build on my habits from the year before, like daily meditation, having quiet time in the morning, donating blood, keeping track of my finances, walking a mile a day, etc. I think it’s so important to build on your old habits, while starting new ones.

Now, onto my goals and resolutions for 2026

  • Get Married

  • Decide the Next Steps in my Career

  • Read 100 Books

  • Run a Marathon

  • Read the Bible

  • Find a Signature Scent

  • Make A Wedding Scrapbook

  • Continue to Grow My Blog

  • Learn More About Home Decorating

  • Be Better at Decision Making

Some of these are easier to accomplish than others, I know they will all take time, energy and perseverance to accomplish them, but I am ready for the challenge. Some of these goals will require daily attention, others are mindsets, I want to adapt.  I am excited to continue to train for a marathon. I am looking forward to planning my wedding, being present during the day, figuring out what comes next, creating a home, and saving it all in a scrapbook. I am eager to grow closer in my faith in God by reading the Bible. I want to become a more decisive person and I hope I can achieve that this year.

I also look forward to growing my blog more in the new year and one way I hope to achieve that is by adding a new post weekly. From now on, you can find posts from me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

My weekly posts on Wednesday will be about different topics from fashion, to lifestyle, organization, and fitness.

Friday will still be reserved for Friday Favorites

Monday will now be a Coffee Catch-up. It will be a post-weekend recap. Imagine you are catching up with a friend over coffee about the weekend, what’s new and what things you are loving. That’s the goal of the post, a short and sweet weekend recap.

I hope you will make some time to stop by on Mondays for a coffee catch up!

There you have it! My 2026 Resolutions and Goals. I love setting goals for myself and reflecting on how much I have changed from year to year.
Thank you for being on this journey with me.

Cheers to a fulfilling 2026!
