Catching Up with Coffee #1
Hello all!
Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I’m kicking off the new year and week with a new series. Catching Up with Coffee!
This will be a weekly post on Monday’s where I catch you up on my weekend and share my week outlook, what things I’m doing, what I’m looking forward to, etc.
These posts will be short and sweet. Think of it as I you are catching up with a co-worker on a Monday about your weekend.
I hope you will stop by every Monday for a catch up.
Let’s get to this weekend!
Since we last caught up, the first weekend of the new year was fairly uneventful. I have been trying my best to embrace the winter weather. I don’t like the cold, so rather than complain, I try to make the best out of it.
On Friday, we had some fresh snowfall, so my fiance (who was visiting for the weekend) and I decided to go sled riding! We had so much fun and felt like kids!
The perfect day for sledding!
Even though, Christmas Day has come and gone, we still have our decorations up. They will most likely come down this week, but I am still enjoying Christmas specials and hot cocoa. We had a cozy night indoors.
I made the cocoa extra festive!
The weekend itself brought work, church and family time. This was the last weekend everyone in my family was home before it was back to work and school full time. We went out to dinner and had lots of great conversations.
Then came home to enjoy the last of the Christmas cookies and worked on a puzzle to end the night.
Then it was time to get back into the swing of things and ready for the work week ahead! It was a laid back weekend between work and family time. The best kinds of weekends! How was your weekend? Relaxed or productive? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by with a cup of coffee! See you back here on Wednesday!
