Coffee Catch-Up #15
Hello Monday morning!
How was your weekend? Is spring finally settling in? We are supposed to experience life in the 70s this week with temperatures, but it comes with rain showers, but I will take the warm weather any day.
Since we last caught up so much has happened and I can’t wait to fill you in with it all.
Let’s take it back to Friday.
I was visiting my fiance for the weekend and we packed a lot in.
Spring has sprung in New England.
We enjoyed the day outside, going for a walk and run, cooking and relaxing when I arrived.
If you have been following along for a while, you may recall, that we like to do crazy 12 or 24 hours trips together, most are often surprises for me. Last April, we did Orlando in a day, and this April, my fiance surprised me with Fort Lauderdale in a day-our first time being there.
I will have a full post dedicated to our day in the sunshine state coming up, but here’s a few photos to tie you over. Needless to say, 12 hours in Florida was much needed.
I had a quick turnaround from leaving Fort Lauderdale to being back home. In 12 hours from 9:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m., I traveled from Fort Lauderdale, to New England, to Cleveland, with very few hours of sleep, but it was SO worth it.
Saturday was all about getting my life back in order and traveling home. I did manage to do some shopping at Old Navy and I picked up some spring and summer finds that I will share in the next couple weeks. We had family visiting for the weekend so we enjoyed lots of social time.
Sunday was back to work for me, plus making the most out of time outside, although, cloudy it was 70 degrees. A beautiful day!
This week I have a few things to enjoy on my calendar, plus some spring happenings, needless to say I am looking forward to what the third week of April will bring!
How was your weekend and what things are you looking forward to this week? Let me know in the comments below! See you back here on Wednesday!
