Coffee Catch Up #3

Hello everyone!

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Restful? Cozy? Productive? I had a mix of all three, which are my favorite kinds of weekends, a mix of work and play!

Here’s how I spent the weekend.

Friday was pretty uneventful, I enjoyed a cozy day at home. I finished a book, which I loved! Full review coming at the end of the month in my Currently post.

We had company this weekend, so I did some baking. Chocolate chip cookies are always a hit- they were gone by the end of the weekned.

I met up with a friend for a coffee catch up and facetimed another friend, whether just down the street or hundreds of miles away, monthly or weekly catch-ups with friends are so important to me. I love time spent with friends.

I ended the night by starting Jay Kelly, the new movie on Netflix. It’s a long movie starring George Clooney, so I didn’t get a chance to finish it, but I’m hoping to wrap it up this week.

Saturday brought the return of work, popping in to see a new exhibit at our local museum, church, and then dinner. Even with chilly temperatures, I managed to sneak in a walk with my dog- who loves to be outside, no matter the conditions.

Sunday brought work, time with family, some reading, and errands before Monday rolled around again. We ended the weekend with a family dinner which is always a favorite of mine!

That’s a look into my life this weekend, it was smooth and calm and not too eventful-my favorite kinds of weekends!
