Friday Favorites #181
Hello all! Happy Friday!
How are you settling in this January? Have you started new routines and rhythms or getting back into old ones? I hope these past few weeks have brought fresh starts and a return to normalcy.
Winter is back in full force this week!
New Desk Calendar- For Christmas, I got a new daily tear away desk calendar. I love the daily motivation or inspirational sayings it provides for me. It always gives me something to smile about and oftentimes, the quotes or phrases really resonate with me. It’s a fun desk decor item that adds a hint of joy to my day.
New 2026 Journal- I am picky when it comes to my journals. I search high and low until I find one that really speaks to me in the season of life I am in. I kept coming up empty handed so I decided to make my own. I had a notepad that I created years ago lying around, rather than buy new, I decided to use what I had. I added some inspirational quotes and stickers through the pages, grabbed a pen and hook that I had to make my own journal. I’m glad I was able to reuse things that I had to create a journal that worked for me.
Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man- Over the holidays, my family and I watched the new Knives Out movie. I really enjoyed the other two films and I was excited to see the third installment. I thought the casting was great, the plot kept me guessing through different twists and turns, and overall, I thought the movie was really good. Have you seen it? If so, what were your thoughts?
Playbooks and Simplified Planner- One of my favorite things about the new year is starting my new Simplified planner and my playbooks from the Lazy Genius. I have found these two tools work great for me and my current season of life. I will have a post about how I use them both coming up next week, so stay tuned. I also got new editions of the playbooks which include Projects, Finances, Celebrations, and Yearbook. I can’t wait to start filling these up too.
New jacket- I got this quilted Vineyard Vines jacket for Christmas. This is perfect for the winter time and for layering. I love the material and the color. I wore it for New Year’s Day and it was so cozy, but fitted too. I know I will be getting a lot of use out of it over the next few months.
That’s a look into some of my favorite things from this week. This week was all about fresh starts and getting back into my rhythms, while establishing new ones too. What are some of your favorite routines that have been sticking? I would love to know! Have a great weekend and I’ll update you on mine on Monday! See you back here! Stay cozy!
