Coffee Catch-Up #30

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday morning (or afternoon) depending on when you are checking in. I hope you had a wonderful first weekend of August! I don’t know about you, but this summer is flying by too fast!

I had a good weekend mixed with running errands, family time, and sunshine! It was a good balance outside of work too.

These next few weeks are quite busy for me, so my posts may be a bit more sporadic, but I hope you will still stop by to read. Before, we start a new week, let’s recap this past weekend.

My weekend started out with a trip to our zoo with an after-hours event. We were able to see some of our favorite animals at night which was a fun post-work activity.

After a day full of errands over the course of the weekend, my pup was very excited for some one on one time, which of course included a walk at one of our favorite parks.

We enjoyed a poolside movie night which was fun, we had some technical issues, and are hoping for another shot at it with more people later this summer!

We had friends over for an afternoon visit and I made some Trader Joe’s strawberry muffins. They were easy to make, moist, and so flavorful! A perfect summer treat!

We did get some rain over the weekend, but that just meant it made the flowers more vibrant when they bloomed.

We also ordered pizza in one night for a new to me place. It was hot and delicious and hit the spot!

The rest of the weekend included chores, picking up, running errands, family dinner, and church. Not too much to report, but a good weekend. I can’t believe we are in August! What are you looking forward with the week ahead? Let me know in the comments below! I’ll see you back here on Wednesday!
