Clinique Beauty Review Part One
Hello everyone!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week. I have a busy few weeks coming up. Lots of big and exciting things happening, but it’s a lot.
Just a blogging note, I always try to write my posts as close to publication time as possible, but I will be out of town for the next handful of days, so my posts will still be here, but they were written ahead of time. I will let you know when I am back to real time posting, but I hope you will still find time in your day to read what things I am loving and what I’m up to!
Today’s post is a two-parter. It’s all about Clinique Beauty products. I am a big fan of the beauty of makeup products and I am always trying and testing out new things. There are items that are tried and true and I would never change, but other things I like to test out.
Clinique is a brand I can always rely on, I picked up a handful of their makeup and beauty products and have been testing them out this summer. Part one’s post will focus more on beauty and part two will focus on beauty.
Let’s get to part one:
High Impact Mascara- I really have been loving this mascara. It’s thick, has great volume and doesn’t clump. I only have to put a few coats on to get the coverage and thickness I am looking for in a mascara since I have light eyes. It’s also super easy to remove.
Glossier Play Lip- This isn’t from Clinique, but I do love it. The perfect red lip. It provides long-lasting coverage, isn’t too overpowering, but it is bright and cheery. I love the formula and how smooth it goes on.
Active Glow Serum- I really have noticed a difference with this serum. Yes, it’s an extra step when doing my beauty routine, but I feel refreshed and rejuvenated after I apply it.
Blushing Pop and Lip Oil- Although this is a darker color and I haven’t worn it too much in the summer, I can definitely see myself getting more use out of it in the fall and winter months. Once again, great consistency and easy application.
Almost Lipstick- This has been a great lipstick to use as a backup. It’s a neutral color that you can pair with so many outfits, dressed up or down. Plus, I love the pigment, how it doesn’t dry out your lips, and the long-lasting coverage.
Cleansing Balm- I wear a lot of makeup every day, so making sure I have a clean face at the end of the day is crucial. This cleansing balm really does a good job of giving my face a good scrub before I apply my evening creams.
There you have it. My honest review of some new Clinique products. Before you try any of these products for yourself, I would recommend talking to your dermatologist first to make sure they don’t irritate your skin and do more harm than good.
Part two which focuses more on beauty will be out in a few weeks once I have had more time to test things out. This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just me sharing my honest opinions of products I am trying.
What are some new products you have tried and have been enjoying? Let me know in the comments below!
See you back here on Friday for another Friday Favorites!
