Coffee Catch-Up #37
Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I can’t believe we are at the end of September and next week we will be writing October in our planners. This was a month of transition for me, so I am eager to start a new month and enjoy more fall fun!
I had a busy weekend between travel and fall fun!
Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or cider and let’s settle in.
I began my weekend early by heading out east to visit my husband for the weekend.
After an easy flight, I arrived and we grabbed lunch, enjoyed the city, relaxed, and cooked dinner.
We then bundled up and made our way to Fenway Park for a playoff game between the Red Sox and the Guardians.
It was a close game but we walked away with a win for the Guards!
We got up early the next day and got breakfast and met my brother who was also in town visiting. It was an unexpected, but fun short visit.
I created a bucket list of things I want to see in Boston and we were able to check a lot of things off the list this visit.
We went to the Boston Commons and Public Gardens.
We loved exploring the area.
The book worm in my LOVED the Boston Public Library!
It was beautiful inside!
South Station is a familiar stop for us when I travel to the city, I typically only see the inside, but the outside is beautiful!
We traveled to Beacon Hill, where I went to Beacon Hill Books, a very well known book store.
We then made our way to the Boston Public Market to browse through lots of vendors.
We walked through some of the more colonial areas, that were quite festive!
Because of the Nor’ Easter storm, I moved up my flight to make sure I didn’t get caught in the bad weather, so it was a quick trip, but so worth it.
After a late arrival, I got to enjoy some time at home and some fun fall activities over the weekend. My pup and I got in a nice, long walk.
He was very content with the extra time together.
I did some fall shopping for flowers and pumpkins.
My mom and I went apple picking which was so fun!
We got a variety of apples
Recipes coming soon!
We got four different types of apples.
We came home and mypup and I went out for another long walk, which he was VERY pleased with.
The weekend also brought running some errands, a few house projects, and finishing TWO books. It was a balance of productive and relaxing. I am ready for the week ahead and ready for October. How was your weekend? Did you do anything fall-ish? Let me know in the comments below! Happy Monday! I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for a monthly recap. See you then!
