I hope you had a great week! I am out of town this weekend visiting my husband, so I am looking forward for some adventures and time together.
I’ll have a full weekend recap for you on Monday! As we make our way through September, I have another round up of favorites to share with you today. A lot of these are beauty heavy, so men, you have been warned. But I do have a recent movie that I watched that I have thoughts on. Let’s dive in as I link up with Erika and Andrea.
Eye and Wrinkle Sample- I got some recent free samples from Ulta Beauty that I have been trying out and I have been pleased with the results. I really liked how this eye cream went on. The lotion wasn’t too thick or creamy and it provided great coverage. I didn’t notice a huge difference in my wrinkles around my eyes, but I did like how it made my face and eyes feel after using.
Sleep Lotion- I love using lavender scented products as I wind down at night whether they are pillow mists, lotions, or sprays. I instantly feel calmer and more relaxed. I use a squirt of this at night to soften my skin and I love the soothing scent. Bath and Body Works is a always a go-to for me.
Mini-hand lotion- Even though summer is over, I am still holding onto the scents and memories. I love this Beach mini lotion and have been using it daily at work. I like to keep my skin smooth and soft with a subtle scent and this does the trick for me! Thank you, Bath and Body Works!
New Full Size Lotion and Body Spray- With the changing seasons and timing, my old summery scents for lotion and spray ahd run out, so it was time to head to my backstock shelf to pick out a new scent. Since I am still in my newly-wed stage, I decided Always and Forever would be a complimentary scent that wasn’t too fruity or floral for fall, but still elegant and classic. I have been very happy with my decision so far. I got this scent from Bath and Body Works.
Song Sung Blue-This movie has been out for a while, but I am just late to the party to watching it. Song Sung Blue is based on a true story about a Neil Diamond tribute group. It stars Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman. I thought the movie was good, but it was darker and more intense than I anticipated. It wasn't as happy or bright as I had hoped. I thought the singing and acting were very well done and loved all the Neil Diamond references. I wasn't in a rush to see it and was okay waiting until it was out on streaming platforms.
