Coffee Catch-Up #40

Hey! Hey Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had another fall filled weekend in my house. This past weekend, one of my brothers was home for fall break so we enjoyed lots of festive activities.

The leaves have started to change, we have had cooler days, and fall really feels like its settling in.

Here’s a look at the past few days as we catch up over coffee, or tea, or hot cider.

This weekend included lots of cooking, trying new recipes, and walks with my dog in the foliage.

I kicked off the weekend by making slow cooker Minestrone soup from Mix and Match Mama. It was so filling and tasty.

My pup and I started the day with hot tea and a long walk.

Mother Nature was showing off in her fall glory.

I did some Halloween decorating to get the house extra festive.

I made homemade S’more granola for a weekend treat.

My pup and I enjoyed more fall walks, some in the rain too!

We warmed up post walk with some hot tea, this is my current favorite!

I made roasted sausage, peppers, and gnocchi for another easy, one pan meal that was filling too!

In addition to decorating for Halloween, I decorated my pumpkin for some extra fun!

Even though it was chilly, my pup and I still got in more walks as the weekend continued.

All smiles from the passenger seat, with our seat belts buckled. Safety first!

The sun peaking through the trees was gorgeous!

After a sunny afternoon, I had a warm dish cooking in the crock pot. Apple Chicken breasts. Yum!

The rest of the weekend included laundry, chores, getting ready for the week ahead, family time, and some downtime too. It was such a good mix of work and play. That’s a look into life this weekend. How was your weekend? What were your highlights? I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for a new beauty review! Get excited, this one is a good one! Have a great start to your week!
