Hello everyone!
Happy Friday! What a week it has been full of lots of change and transition. In the past week, my youngest brother moved to college, my fiance moved back to school, and I had a busy work schedule. This summer has been full of so many adventures that I talked a lot about in my Currently post, I’m so sad to see it go. But, I’m doing my best to focus on the positive and good things coming.

It’s Labor Day weekend! If you have some extra time off, I hope you are enjoying one last cookout, a dip in the pool, or a bonfire. Before we get to the weekend, I wanted to share some of my favorite things from the week as I link up with Erika and Andrea. This week is beauty and personalization heavy, you have been warned, haha!
New Eyebrow Gel- I have been testing out some new beauty products and that includes this new eyebrow gel from Revlon. In the past, I have always used a powder for my brows, but decided to try a gel. It comes with both a wand and brush, so you can add more definition to your brows. It has taken some getting used to, since I have been using powder for years, so I’m not sold on it yet, but it has been fun to play around with it.
With Love, Meghan Season 2- Meghan Markle’s show, “With Love, Meghan”, came out with its second season this week. I have started to watch some episodes, but haven’t gotten very far. I found the first season to be a comfort show or sorts, something you can put on in the background, but not be glued to it. I also got some fun ideas that I can incorporate into my life. I really like some of the guests she has lined up for season two and can’t wait to watch more.
Lip Liner-I’ve really been trying to use lip liner and a gloss more for work. I have a handful of lipsticks that I use, but want to use other products I have as well. I have been using both a lip liner and then adding some gloss or lipstick to fill in. I have been using Kylie Jenner’s lip kits for these looks and have been pleased with the outcome.
Backpack monogram- If you missed it from Wednesday’s post, I got engaged this summer! We plan on keeping our planning and relationship still private, but we are both very excited and happy for this new chapter in our lives. One of the first things I did was update my monogram. I got this backpack for my birthday for travel and hadn’t gotten around to getting it monogrammed yet, good thing I waited since I will soon have a new monogram. I was so pleased with how it turned out and can’t wait to use it soon!
Simplified Launch Day- Simplified had their launch day this past Wednesday. I am a yearly calendar girl, so I picked up my planner this past week. I love the format of the weekly planner. It gives me enough space for daily to-do’s and plans. I decided to go with Faraway Land in the 2026 Spiral Weekly Simplified Planner. I adore the design and the message behind the print. I can’t wait for the new year to start using my planner.
