Friday Favorites #162

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a successful and fulfilling week. We are kicking of September, I always have mixed feelings about fall. I like the changing of seasons, but I don’t like cooler weather.

Bonfires and s’mores are always a good call.

As we make our way through September, I wanted to share some recent finds and favorites as I link up with Erika and Andrea.

This week is a mix of entertainment, my favorite brands, and foods!

Simplified Wedding Planner-In case you missed it, I got engaged this summer, even in the early stages of planning, something that has helped me immensely has been the Simplified Wedding planner. I love that it’s a binder that has lots of space for adding your own notes and papers. There’s 12 months worth of calendar pages, plus lots of notes pages and specific pages for guest lists, events, and good reminders of things to consider. I also got the vows notebooks, contacts book, stickers and pens. All my wedding planning things are in one spot and I love that!

Personalized Apron- If you have been following along for a while then you know I am an avid baker and cooker in the kitchen. The one big thing I was missing was an apron. I got one for my birthday back in May, but never got around to monogramming it. I got my name put on it when I got my monogram done on my backpack. A simple change, but one that makes me so happy whenever I put it on.

The Diplomat Season 3- One good thing about fall is fall tv returning. It’s not the same as it was in year’s past with lots of network shows, but a handful of my favorite shows on streaming announced premiere dates and dropped trailers including the Diplomat on Netflix. I really have enjoyed this series and the new season picks up right where the last one left off with a new person in the Oval office, but for the wrong reasons. I can’t wait to see what this season brings. It premieres in October.

Emily in Paris Season 5- Speaking of shows, Emily in Paris returns for season 5 in December and no, Emily is no longer in Paris, she’s in Italy. I really like how they are showing taking her to different parts of Europe! I think this season will be a good one with lots of romance, fresh starts and new adventures. This new season airs in December, the perfect thing to watch over Christmas break!

Friend Meet-Ups- Such an easy but worthwhile favorite. After such a busy summer, I am getting back to routine meet-ups with friends. It has been so nourishing for my soul to get my girl time in. Whether it is meeting up for a walk or meeting half way between our homes, it’s so good to see my favorite people.

Nothing beats a good meal with good people to serve as a bright spot in your week!

That’s a look into what I’m loving this week. We have a lot of things that have made me smile, from friends, to entertainment, and my favorite brands. I hope you have a great weekend! See you back here on Wednesday.
