Friday Favorites #170

Hello all!

Happy Friday and more importantly, Happy Halloween! Whether you are going out or have little ones at home, I hope you are having a spooky day filled with candy, scary movies, and pumpkins.

Here’s how I have been celebrating the Halloween season and how I plan to celebrate more this weekend!

Beautiful fall mornings

Before we get to all the Halloween fun, I wanted to share some fall and festive favorites with you today as I link up with Erika and Andrea.

Here’s what I have been loving!

Running Point- Between watching my weekly shows and Gilmore Girls, I have been making my way through some one season series on Netflix and Amazon Prime. A lot of these have been on my “to-be- watched” list, but life got busy and they have been waiting, but now I am finally getting around to them. Running Point stars Kate Hudson and it’s all about a sister who takes over as the manager/owner of her family’s minor league basketball team. It’s all about the family dynamics that comes with running a team, handling the players, and the controversies that come with it. There are only ten episodes and they last about 30 minutes, a perfect watch for the end of the day. I liked the mix of comedy and family drama too!

Foam Roller-Between my lifting at the gym and running, I have learned the importance of stretching. Using a foam roller has been a game changer for me. I used a foam roller at the gym, but didn’t have one at home. I made the purchase for my own foam roller and it has done wonders for my legs and body. I love to use my foam roller in the morning and at night when I’m relaxing and my muscles appreciate it too!

Pumpkin Spice Granola- You know I am a fan of granola and if there’s a seasonal flavor, I’m in! Just in time for fall, our grocery store came out with a pumpkin spice granola. I have been loving using this granola with my trail mixes and yogurts for snacks. I can’t help myself when it comes to seasonal treats. Perfect for Halloween today and for the weekend!

Nobody Wants This- I know it came out last week, but I didn’t get a chance to start watching it until this week. Nobody Wants This has been a cute show to watch as a couple with different backgrounds navigates their relationship. I think the show is very relatable for a lot of couples especially when it comes to handling real issues and bringing two personalities together. It’s been a fun show to watch as a palette cleanser to watch as I am between shows. Definitely a show you can watch in a week or weekend depending on how fast you watch.

New Cookbooks-I brought it up on Wednesday’s post, but have been loving trying new fall recipes thanks to some recent cookbooks. I love heading to the library, seeing what books they have and going home and paging through them and picking out new meals, snacks, and desserts to try! What have you been cooking and baking this fall?!

That’s a look into some of my favorite things from this week! What have you been loving as we say goodbye to October and hello to November?!

I hope you have a  festive Halloween with more treats than tricks!

Happy Halloween!
