Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. It is the final week before Thanksgiving. I had a busier week between getting back into the swing of things after being away last weekend, a big work event, and getting ready for Thanksgiving and the holiday next week. I am looking forward to the calm before the holiday rush.
Before we get to the weekend, I wanted to share with you some things I have been loving this week as I link up with Erika and Andrea.
Fireplaces- We are officially in the cozy season and that means cranking up the fireplace. The nights have been cold and dark with the sun setting earlier, so we have been turning on our fireplace and I have been loving it. It adds an extra layer of coziness to our home, plus add a candle and warm blanket and I am one happy gal!
Face Mask- I have been loving these hydration masks. I like to put them on when I’m relaxing or doing chores around the house. I can put it on, go about my day and take it off in a few minutes. I love how it makes my face feel free, refreshed and hydrated. Plus, after a week of heavy makeup, I like the break it gives my face too!
Peach Salsa- I picked this up at my local farmer’s market and have been loving it. We eat Mexican-esque food a lot, from tacos, to bowls, nachos, etc. We have our go-to salsas, but when I saw this one I had to try it. It’s a fruity based salsa that still has the kick you might be looking for in a salsa. We have been enjoying it year round, but it would be great in the summer! Yum!
Hair Wrap- This hair wrap has been a huge help to me lately. Whenever I wash and dry my hair, I like to have it up and out of my face. I picked up this hair wrap from Marshall’s and have been loving it. I love how it does a great job at drying my hair and it leaves my hair with extra volume. It’s also great to wear when you are getting ready after washing your hair for the day or at night.
Blue Suit- This has been a recent favorite of mine after searching for something like this for a long time. For years, since I started working, I wanted to wear a matching suit with pants, skirt, and a blazer. I tried them on through the years, but never found what I was looking for in a professional suit. Then I popped into an Ann Taylor outlet over the summer and found exactly what I had been searching for. This suit checks all the boxes for me, well fitted, navy blue, and professional looking. I could have settled for something months ago, but I’m glad I didn’t and kept looking. It shows that sometimes, patience is key.
