Friday Favorites #195
Hello everyone! Happy Friday!
I hope you had a great week. Can you believe we are at the end of April? Wow, Spring is springing by us. This month has been busy between Easter, a trip to Boston, and time with friends. I have been savoring it all up. Plus, I have loving the fact I can get outside for more walks and runs and not getting stuck inside on the treadmill.
My pup has also been enjoying the extra sunshine and outdoor time!
Essential Oils in Laundry- I love to use essential oils in every day in life, from diffusing to cleaning, and using them to deal with certain aches and pains. I have started to use essential oils in my laundry. I will take a scent, typically a citrus (like a lemon, orange, peppermint etc.) and add a few drops to my ball that I throw into the dryer. This leaves my clothes feeling and smelling fresh in a more natural way. A small change that makes a big difference.
Simplified Card Holder- I like to change up my wallets or key rings every few months to keep things from getting old and worn out. I recently got a card holder from Simplified’s Travel collection. I love how it fits exactly what I need, just my credit cards and ID and it’s sleek and preppy looking. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
Grace Not Perfection Necklace- Another recent Simplified purchase. I love Emily’s saying, “Grace Not Perfection” I was gifted a Grace Not Perfection necklace and it’s one of my new favorite accessoires. I love that it is both dainty, yet bold. Plus the meaning behind it is so special to me.
Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom- I have followed the Kardashian family for years. I have always been intrigued by them. I was interested to learn more about Lamar Odom and his struggles and life in this new documentary. Overall, I was impressed by how much the documentary highlighted about Odom and his struggles and victories. I found the documentary to be very enlighting.
Muscle Salt- As an avid exercise enthusiast. I have learned that recovery is just as important as the actual workout. I have been using muscle salt after a tough workout to soothe and relax my muscles. It’s nice to elongate my me-time and know that I’m taking care of my body while training. Plus it’s a fun way to pamper myself in the morning or at night.
There you have it. An update and recap on what I have been loving and what’s been on my radar. What has been catching your attention this week? Let me know in the comments below! Happy Friday friends, I’ll see you back here on Monday for a coffee catch-up!
