Friday Favorites #198
Hello all! Happy May, we are making our way through my favorite month of the year and I am here for it. I have been trying to enjoy all the things that this month and season brings with it. The days are longer, the sun is out more, and I feel like everyone is in better moods. Also, summer is right around the corner. Can you ask for anything better? My fiance is visiting for the week and we have been having the best time before summer gets underway!
Before, I get to another spring weekend, I wanted to share some favorites with you from this week as I link up with Erika and Andrea
Let’s dive in!
Lazy Genius-Playbooks-Celebrations- At the beginning of the year, I mentioned how I got The Lazy Genius Playbooks for each of the seasons and the special ones for Projects, Celebrations, Yearbook, and Travel. I have been updating the Yearbook one every month. It's a beautiful way to see what I was going through every month, but I am starting to use the other ones, namely, the Celebration one. I have a few big events coming up and this playbook is the perfect spot to put all my ideas, brainstorming, and tasks for each celebration. I can't wait to start using the other ones as I need them.
Five Star Weekend Trailer- I mentioned the first look coming out a first weeks back, but now we have the trailer of the 5 Star Weekend coming to Peacock by Elin Hilderbrand. I cannot wait for this series to drop. It looks so beautiful and I am eager to see how it compares to the book. The fact it was shot on Nantucket makes it all the more special. If you saw it or read the book, what are your thoughts?
Photo A Day in May- I have been participating in the Photo A Day challenge with Photo A Day with Erika and Shay all month long. You can follow along on my instagram It’s been such a fun way to stop and acknowledge what’s going on around the world around you. I have been really trying to stop and notice what’s around me and this challenge certainly helps with that.
Using Stickers- Remember as a kid when you would get a gift and wanted to save it for the right time? I did that ALL the time as a child and I never used the items. As an adult, I try my best to use the good stuff now, that can be wearing nice jewelry, applying the perfume, or in this case, using the stickers. I have gotten stickers for years from different planners and notebooks but never knew when to use them. I decided, ‘why wait’, use the stickers now and I have been having so much fun adding them to my planner and notebooks. Whenever I find an unexpected sticker it makes me smile.
Edamame snacks- I am, like so many other people, looking to add more protein in my diet. I found these edamame snacks and decided to give them a try. There were many different flavors, but I kept it simple and went with the sea salt. I liked the saltiness they provided and they were filling too. I liked that when I finished my snack, I was full and not hungry for more food. These will definitely be a recurring purchase.
That’s a quick roundup into what I am loving this week. Some snacks, some beauty, and some inspiration. What have you been loving this week? I would love to know. Happy Friday! See you back here on Monday for another catch-up! Have the best weekend!
