Friday Favorites #205

Hello everyone.

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend. I know I am!It's also the Fourth of July weekend. We also like to celebrate America's birthday, but this year is extra special with-it being America's 250th birthday! I have had a busy week between family being in time, a busy work schedule and the holiday weekend right around the corner. But, I did manage to have some fun this week too, like by heading out on the water.

I have some festive and some summery things and of course some sweet treats to enjoy as we get into the holiday weekend. Before we get to the weekend, I wanted to share a handful of fun things I have been loving this week and through the month of June as I link up with Erika and Andrea.

New Work Notebook- You know I love my bright and cheery notebooks. I have been using my mini Simplified notebook for daily to-dos and tasks but needed a larger notebook for long-form ideas and notes and to-dos. This helps keep my lists separate of urgent tasks and long-terms tasks. I love the sturdiness of the larger notebook and how it pairs well with my Simplified mini-notebook. I also got it as a gift, so it reminds me of my friend whenever I use it. Plus, I'm glad I'm using something I have instead of buying new.

Wuthering Heights- VERY late to the party on this favorite, but I finally got around to watching Wuthering Heights. I, like so many, had to read the acclaimed novel in high school and I thought it was okay, but not my favorite. Flash forward to watching it as an adult, and I still think it's good, but not a favorite movie of all time for me. The storyline is heartbreaking, but iconic. I do believe this classic piece of literature is something everyone should read at least once. I thought they did a good job with casting, and I loved the outfits Margot Robbie wore once she was married. The scenes of the changing seasons and years were breathtaking. Although, not my favorite movie of all time, I'm still glad I saw it.

Beach Mini Hand Lotion- Another recent favorite of mine has been seasonal scents. You know I love my seasonal scents and products from Bath and Body Works. Just in time for summer in full swing, I have been using Bath and Body Works Beach lotion, it truly smells like an afternoon on the beach. I have been looking for more summer scents like lemon, pineapple, and coconut to add to my collection.

Beach Body Spray- Sticking with the beach theme, I have been using this beach body spray daily. It’s tropical and very summery. There are hints of coconut and light notes, nothing too overpowering. This is such a refreshing scent to put on after a day in the pool or outdoors. I love my seasonal scents, especially from Bath and Body Works.

Kopari Tropical Coconut Melt-I have heard about this brand, Kopari and product for years and finally decided to try it for myself. It’s a summer scented melt that liquefies once it gets wet. You can put it all over your body, hair, and face. It’s refreshing and super lightweight to put on. It’s not super thick like some body lotions are. After a day out on the sun, sometimes, you want something on your body without anything too thick. This has been perfect in the summer months for me.

That’s a look into some favorite things of mine this week. Lots of beach and summer finds! We are in full summer mode over here. How are you enjoying the summer season? Let me know in the comments below! I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll see you for another Monday catch-up soon!
