Friday Favorites #218

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you had a successful week and are ready for the weekend! I can’t believe we are at the start of October! My pup has been enjoying the changing weather.

The past month has been a month of change and adjusting, but we made it to the other side. As we countdown to the weekend, I wanted to share some recent things that brought me joy this week as I linkup with Erika and Andrea.

Taylor Swift’s New Songs- These may have dropped last week, but I just got to listening them this week. I watched her music video during the VMA’s on Sunday for Patient Zero and have been listening to Cleveland! a lot this week. Although, I am not a die hard Swiftie, I do enjoy her music and I think she is very talented. I’m looking forward to what she releases next, but for now, I’m going to continue to enjoy these four new songs.

Voicemails for Isabelle- This has been a movie that has sat on my watch list for a while now and I finally got around to watching it. I personally felt that Voicemails for Isabelle was on the predictable side, but it was still good for a movie to put on in the background. It follows the story of two very close sisters. When one of the sisters dies, the other one continues to leave voicemails for her. Someone else inherits the phone number and a young man starts receiving the voicemails and he falls in love with our protagonist. Will he tell her the truth? That's the question. Although it was predictable, I did enjoy the movie and thought it was a good film to put on in the background. Plus, I thought the casting was well done.

Pretzel Crackers- I have to admit, these were an impulse buy, but so worth it. I enjoy anything salty, so when I saw these pretzel crackers with sea salt, I was intrigued. They had them in other flavors, like cheddar, but I opted for the pretzel. They are lighter and less salty than your typical pretzel. They would pair perfectly with a dip, some fruit, or even chocolate. I found them at Target and will definitely be buying them again!

Eye of the Storm Eye Shadow Palette- As you may recall, I have been trying to use what I have and shopping my shelves before buying new. I purchased this Eye shadow Palette from Kylie Cosmetics a handful of years ago, but totally forgot all about it. While, I may not use all of the colors of the palette, I can see myself using more than half of the colors, and maybe giving some of the others a try. This is your sign to use what you have before buying new.

Makeup Brush Cleaning Kit- I wear a lot of makeup for work, so I like to clean my brushes every other week. I was just doing them by hand in the morning, until I got this cleaning tool kit. I really feel like my brushes are getting a good and thorough cleaning and I love how you can use it to store and dry your brushes too. I found this on Amazon.
