Coffee Catch-Up #38

Hello everyone!

Happy Monday! It’s the first full week of October! I hope you had a great weekend. We had a mix of summer-like and fall-like weather over the past few days. One day it was 80' degrees and sunny and the next was 50 and rainy. I made the most of the sunny days by getting outside and the rainy days by doing indoor activities. I do have some fun things planned for later this week, work first and then play!

Here’s a look into my first weekend of October.

I started the weekend with getting errands done, some chores, and meal prepping.

One of the parts of my meals this week is a spinach salad with cranberries, grapes, pecans and apples. Yum!

It was so nice out that I got in an outdoor lunch! I made a similar salad but added chicken for protein!

One of my stops was to the library where I got a fresh stack of books that I can’t wait to share with you!

It was beautiful out so I took my pup on a nice walk too!

I ended the night by watching the special on Hulu about Harry and Meghan and their return to the U.K. I love the commentator and author, Elizabeth Holmes and loved to see her share her thoughts!

Over the weekend, I also got some baking in on the not-so-nice weather days! I baked pumpkin muffins from Trader Joe’s. I added chocolate chips for some extra sweetness. Yum!

I ran some errands which included getting my car washed. I LOVE the feeling of a clean car!

My mom and I went to see Practical Magic 2! I thought it was a great sequel and loved all the Easter eggs to the first movie! It certainly got me in the seasonal spirit!

We ended the night with homemade pizza and salad! Yum!

It’s all about balance right?

I spent the rest of the weekend, getting ready for the week ahead. I met up with a friend for walk, it was great to catch up and get in some sunshine! I also caught up with friends via facetime which is always so fun! No matter how far we are a part, we can always pick up right where we left off.

I went to Church, ran some errands, and enjoyed family time. It was well balanced and calm, my favorite kinds of weekends.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? Share with me in the comments below!

I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for another fall-esque post! See you then!
