Friday Favorites #219

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!

I hope you have been having a great October and either leaning into the fall season or wishing it was still summertime. I have been attempting to get into the fall vibes, but I do LOVE my warmth and sunshine. My husband is visiting for this weekend, so we have a bucket list of fall fun to get to! I can’t wait!

Today’s favorites are on the cozy side of things, some books, movies, and treats. Let’s get into it as I link up with Erika and Andrea

Homemaking with Babs- I love the Brunch with Babs Instagram account. She provides tasty recipes and homemaking ideas that are easy and affordable. Babs also has two cookbooks which I purchased and have tried plenty of recipes that are crowd pleasers. When Babs announced a new homemaking book, I couldn’t wait to read it. It’s been the perfect book to page through a little bit each day. I get so many great ideas on how to make a space into a home.

Freakier Friday- I grew up as a Disney channel kid and LOVED watching Disney movies both cartoon and real people. When I saw they were making a sequel to Freaky Friday, Freakier Friday, I was intrigued. I finally got around to watching it and really liked it. I loved how they kept the same theme with a modern twist and LOVED that they brought so many of the original cast members back. Well done, Disney!

Sterling Point- Another show I jumped on the bandwagon to watch, which I mentioned in last month’s Currently, but I felt like it deserved its own favorite, Sterling Point. I have heard so many people and friends rave about it that I wanted to try it for myself. It’s all about a girl who learns she has an entire island left to her from her distant grandfather. It’s very lighthearted and an easy show to watch in the background. It’s along the lines of the Summer I Turned Pretty, a great background show too.

Harry and Meghan: The Prince’s Return- I mentioned one hour documentary in my Coffee Catch-Up, but I can’t stop thinking about it, so it had to be added here. I am a fan and follower of the Royal family, so whenever something new comes out about them, I am always intrigued. A documentary about Harry and Meghan’s return to the U.K. was informative and juicy! You can find it on Hulu and different journalists share their thoughts on this move and what it could mean for the monarchy. I really enjoyed watching it and I’m eager to see how this plays out.

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test- One of my favorite reality shows is back! Special Forces on Fox puts celebrities, actors, athletes, and influencers to the test to see if they can be a Special Forces Op. It’s always interesting to see who comes out on top and who doesn’t make it far. One thing is for certain, I don’t know if I can do some of the challenges, they look HARD!

That’s a look into what I am loving this week, some new items, books, and shows, LOTS of shows! With the weather getting cooler, I have a feeling more shows and movies are on the way, but it’s lots of fun things. What are you loving in your world?

See you back here on Monday for another catch-up!
