A Perfect Winter Day

Hello everyone!

Happy First Week of March!

A hint of spring is on its way!

Wow, I don't know about you, but February certainly flew by for me. Between travel, celebrating holidays, and yes, you guessed it, more snow. It was a busy month, even if it was a bit shorter compared to other months. I recapped it in my Currently post last week. Even though it is March, we know winter isn't over yet.

Today, I wanted to share my "Perfect" Winter Day. I did a post about romanticizing perfect days for each season. You can see my perfect fall day here. Since we still have time until spring and you may be over the winter season, I wanted to share what my perfect winter day will look like. This will hopefully encourage you to love and savor the season you are in.

An ideal perfect winter day would start with a good workout and run at the gym, as much as I love the outdoors, it is too cold for that in this season, so we head indoors.

After a good workout, I would get ready for the day and put on something cozy; a turtleneck and jeans would do the trick, plus warm boots. Then I would start the crockpot and make some homemade chili for a warm meal at the end of the day. I love when I can start my food prep in the morning and let it be for the day and enjoy at the end of the day.

After all the little chores of the morning are done, I would head out for an activity like book browsing or a trip to the mall.

I would get lunch at a local spot-maybe a soup and a sandwich combo.

The afternoon would include a winter activity, like ice skating and if there's fresh snow, a winter walk outside.

It’s pretty even when it’s chilly.

After some fresh air, it would be time to warm up with warm drinks like coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and enjoy whatever book I am reading by the fire. A seasonal candle would also be lit too.

Plus you can’t forget puppy cuddles.

If I had time, I would enjoy some baking, warm cookies is the perfect treat for winter.

You can’t go wrong with warm, fresh cookies.

I would then enjoy my chili that's been cooking all day.

I would end the night with a big bowl of popcorn and a movie by the fire.

A classic rom-com always sounds good!

I may not be able to get all of that in one day, but I know I can accomplish each of the activities in the remaining weeks of winter.

I hope this gives you ideas or inspiration to celebrate the season that we are living in, even if winter seems like its never-ending.

I think it's so important that we are present where we are in life, even if we want to hurry to the next thing, sometimes, good I here right now.

Happy Wednesday friends!

See you back here on Friday for another roundup of Friday Favorites!
