Friday Favorites #146
Hello everyone!
A very happy Friday to you all! I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend! It’s been a week of ups and downs, so I’m ready for a change in pace and routine.
Daily walks have been a favorite of mine this week.
I have a busy weekend with a wedding. I am heading out of town today and will be gone for the next few days. It will be fun to go someplace new and celebrate LOVE! Before, I hit the road, I wanted to share some things that I have been loving this week as I link up with Erika and Andrea.
Here’s what’s been on my radar, some entertainment, new scents, and fun goodies!
New Car Scent- I need to do a heavy duty car cleaning, but I’m holding off I am done with travel. I did a mini clean out and refresh of my car and that included switching my car refresher out. Once a month, I try to wipe down the seats, do a quick vacuum, and clear out any trash. Since we are in the spring season, I wanted a floral scent so I went with Fresh Cut Lilacs from Bath and Body Works. I love the subtle, yet fresh scent it gives off whenever I am in my car.
New Scent- Speaking of Bath and Body Works, I got a new scent for body lotion, spray, and wash. It was from the Disney Princess collection from Bath and Body Works. I talked about the collection when it came out and I was so excited to see what the scents would smell like. I got the Cinderella scent which not only was my favorite Disney princess growing up, but I have been loving the scent too. I also got it in a candle too, but haven’t broken it out yet. This scent was so nostalgic, but also pleasing to put on. Not too strong and powerful, but you can still enjoy it.
Maybe I Do- My mom and I had a girl’s night a few weeks ago and watched the movie, “Maybe I Do”. It’s all about a couple who are deciding if they want to take a big step in their relationship. They decide to have their families meet, but the only catch is that their parents have some unique connections that come out during the meeting. It was a cute rom-com, with some deeper meaning about love and relationships. The casting was great and I loved the storyline too.
Simplified Travel Pouches- Since I have been doing a lot of travel lately, and I’m traveling this weekend, these travel pouches from Simplified are going to come in so handy. I love how they are clear which makes it easy for airline travel. The navy blue and light pink will match perfectly with my other Simplified pouches that I use. A lot of my large travel bags have pink and blue in them which makes great for matching. I can’t wait to start using them.
New Mascara- As you know, I love trying different beauty products. I picked up this new mascara from Cover Girl. I really love how it separates the lashes and makes them longer. I have found you have to put on a few coats to get good coverage and make them look full. So far, I have been pleased with it and like how they make my lashes look longer.
