Friday Favorites #184
Hello, hello!
Happy Friday and happy first Friday of February!
I don’t know about you, but I was thrilled to see the new month. January was productive, but now I am ready for a change of pace, scenery, and month.
I’m raising my warm drink to the weekend!
I hope you have had a great week! I know I am slowly making my way through the new season of Bridgerton, which I have been loving.
Simplicity Challenge- I did a wayyyyy more extensive post about completing the Simplified Simplicity Challenge on Wednesday. You can read it here. But it’s still a favorite for this week, since I wrapped it up this week. Every year, Simplified posts on their Instagram a short task that can easily be completed in 10 minutes or less. These tasks give you a sense of accomplishment every day without getting overwhelmed of tackling all your spaces at once. I have completed these challenges every year and the best part is that they change up the tasks every year, so you can always be taking part. Some of my favorite places that I tackled were my workout gear bin, jewelry box, and storage containers. Have you participated in the challenge before, if so, what were your favorite challenges?
Back Mat- I workout a lot so recovery is very important to me. My brother got me this recovery mat for your neck and back. I’ve used it a few times and found it to be very helpful, especially at night. I tend to carry a lot of stress in my neck and shoulders, so this has been helpful to work out the kinks in it. I also like that it comes with instructions for different moves and positions to use it best.
Man on the Inside- I briefly mentioned it in my Currently post at the end of January, but I have been loving the second season of Man on the Inside. Our favorite retiree is back on another case, but this time in a college instead of a nursing home. I have always enjoyed the different roles that Ted Danson plays, but he really shines in this role. I like how this season is different from the first, but it still carries some similarities and characters. Plus, this is a great escape from reality too.
Bridgerton back- I know it came out last week, but I am finally getting around to the new season of Bridgerton. It has been long overdue for a new season, but I am here for it. I love how this show truly transports you back in time. I love the setting, the design, the dresses, the music score, the plot, and the love and drama…I could go on and on. If you are watching, what are your thoughts on this season, compared to the other ones? What characters or storylines are you loving or not liking? Share your thoughts with me below in the comments!
New Phone Case- I don’t make many frivolous purchases, but this was one that I made recently and stand by it. I LOVE bows, I love to wear them, I love the print, how dainty they look, I could go on and on. I saw this phone case and thought it was cute, but then when I saw it was on clearance, it was calling my name even more. It has brought so much joy to my day to day life. Another example is that a little change can make a big difference.
As we welcome in a new month, these are some things that have really made a difference and made me smile this past week. What are some things you are loving lately? I would love to know! Happy Friday friends!
