Friday Favorites #145

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday! We are making our way through May. I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend! I know I am. I am heading out of town for my brother's graduation, which will be a fun and weekend full of celebrations.

I’ve been taking advantage of the spring weather as much as I can

Before we get to this spring weekend. I wanted to share what I have been loving this week as I link up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites.

Outdoor Runs- After such a long winter, I am back to running outdoors once again and logging the miles. It felt so good to get an extra long run in at the start of April. It was 60’s and cloudy and I had to take off my jacket because it was so warm, what a win! I do not take the warm days for granted. It felt so good to get back outdoors.

Here's a look at one of my recent runs

You Are Cordially Invited- Have you seen You are Cordially Invited?! It’s a cute rom-com with Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. It’s about two different groups who are double booked at the same place for weddings. It’s all about how they try to share the space and how the weekend goes with all their guests. There were some great one-liners and I liked the character development. Definitely a fun movie to watch with a bowl of popcorn.

Photo A Day in May- This is a challenge I like to do every year with Erika  and Shay. Every day, they choose a topic and you photograph it and share it on Instagram. It’s a creative way to be present and recognize the world around you. I always like seeing what others post with the hashtag too!

Cuticle Oil- A recent beauty find, cuticle oil. When my nails aren’t painted, I like to put cuticle oil on them to keep them strong. I typically put it on at night when I’m watching tv and not using my hands. I also love the mango scent. Perfect for summer!

Walk Every Day in May- Another challenge I have been trying to do is a walk every day. This is another monthly challenge hosted by Shay. It’s all about encouraging movement every day by walking. There’s no length to the walk, it’s just about getting a walk every day. I have been doing pretty good so far this month. Some days are on the treadmill after a lift, others are outside to cool down after a run, and I’ll even just take a walk to enjoy the sunshine. I love how this is a great challenge to promote movement.

There you have it! Some fun things I am loving this week; monthly challenges, time outdoors, and some beauty finds! I love this time of year with everything in full bloom! What’s something bringing you JOY this month?! I would love to know! Happy Friday, friends!
